1. GENERAL INFORMATION & DESCRIPTION The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Base Los Angeles Long Beach (LALB) has a requirement to repair Chiller #2 located in Building 20. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and expertise necessary to replace two (2) compressors, one (1) thermal expansion valve, two (2) contactors, one (1) filter drier, and three (3) pumps (including associated motors, seals, and equipment) within the Dunham-Bush Chiller #2 system.
