Contract Description

The Contractor to replace the existing domestic hot water generating system that serves Building 1 and Building 22. The existing system consists of a shell and tube heat exchanger that utilizes heating hot water, three gas-fired backup water heaters, three domestic hot water circulating pumps, two heating hot water circulating pumps, a storage tank, and an expansion tank which are located on the 1st floor of the Energy Center. The new domestic hot water generating system will consist of three plate and frame heat exchangers utilizing the heating hot water, two domestic hot water circulating pumps, two heating hot water circulating pumps, a new storage tank, and a new expansion tank to be placed in the space of the existing system.
