Contract Description
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announces its intention to negotiate and issue a sole source award to Waters Technologies Corporation, 34 Maple St., Milford, MA 01757 to provide one year servicing of Waters Xevo TQ-S Cronos (with Acquity UPLC), including parts and labor for service requests and the performance of an annual preventative maintenance. Water Technologies Corporation is the manufacturer of the Xevo TQ-S Cronos (with Acquity UPLC) and the only known source of parts and labor to adequately service the instrument. The service and support that Waters Technologies Corporation provides to this systems is unique and should not be alternatively sourced CPSC intends to negotiate this requirement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(b)(2)(B).
