Contract Description
We expect to acquire seven new BSCs according to our specifications. The Contractor shall provide seven (7) biosafety cabinets consisting of: • One (1) 6-foot wide unit • Six (6) 4-foot wide units All BSCs are expected to meet certification standards (NSF/ANSI 49) upon delivery. Deliverables The following are the requirements that should be met at the minimum: • Class II: Protects personnel, environment, and product (samples). The most common type, offering sterile conditions, ideal for BSL-1 through BSL-3. • Units shall be available in unit widths of 6 ft (one unit) and 4 ft (six units) • Units must meet the performance requirements of NSF/ANSI 49. • Units shall have supply HEPA filters 99.99% efficient at a particle size of 0.3 micron by DOP test and shall be of full cabinet work zone wi...
