Contract Description
This procurement will provide for the disposal of TRIDENT II (D5) first stage (FS), second stage (SS), or third stage (TS) rocket motors. In addition the Contractor will upgrade selected Government-owned equipment that support the disposal process, which will include the following: documentation of disposal plans and environmental assessments, temporary storage of motors, nozzles and igniters received from other Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) storage sites, preparation of motors for shipment to Hill AFB, and support of Hill AFB personnel in the actual motor disposal and testing operations regarding transportation, unloading, removing static electricity, and placement of motors for disposal and testing.
