Contract Description

1. INTRODUCTION Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA) Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified vendors for the replacement and upgrade of HVAC systems at CFA-608 and CFA-609. These systems are critical to maintaining environmental control and operational reliability in laboratory and high-bay spaces. 2. BACKGROUND INL is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory dedicated to nuclear energy, national security, and clean energy innovation. The HVAC systems at CFA-608 and CFA-609 are past their useful life, rely on outdated fuel oil-powered steam boilers, and are increasingly difficult to maintain due to part availability and aging infrastructure.
