Contract Description

The Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Safety Carrier Administration (FMCSA), Office of Acquisitions Management (OAM) awarded a 3-year, sole source contract with the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for the Commercial Driver’s License Information System (CDLIS). FMCSA issued a hybrid (fixed price and time and materials) contract for this service with an ultimate completion date on July 31, 2028. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
