Contract Description

This announcement constitutes a Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The 147th ATW intends to award a service contract to support the procurement of Commercial Internet Service to Ellington AB, Houston, TX 77034. AT&T is the only vendor capable of meeting this requirement. Market research confirms that AT&T is the sole provider with an existing and operational network demarcation point (Dmarc) at the 147 ATKW. The Dmarc is the physical point at which AT&T's public network ends and the installation's private network begins, making it the essential point of interconnection. Procuring this service from any other vendor would require the installation of new fiber optic cabling and the construction of a new Dmarc on the installation.
