Contract Description
This acquisition is for sorting, consolidating, packaging, removal, and proper disposal of various types of hazardous waste from the former Odger's Petroleum site in El Portal, California, near Yosemite National Park. Waste includes petroleum and related products, petroleum-contaminated materials, drill cuttings, paint (liquid and aerosol), approximately 64 tires, an above-ground storage tank, and an LPG cylinder. The total liquid volume is estimated to be 5,700 gallons. The work also includes preparation of post-award plans (Site Health and Safety Plan (SHASP) and Liquid Consolidation Plan (LCP)), characterizing the waste, preparing waste manifests, and transporting it to appropriate disposal facility/ies.
