Contract Description

This request is to replace the Endoscopy Reprocessing Sink at the Wyoming Clinic, a CBOC to the Battle Creek VAMC, for the Sterile Processing Service (SPS). The current equipment was original to the building and is noncompliant with VHA Directive 1116(2), and the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards set forth by the Joint Commission, AMMI ST91. This has been deemed a Priority 1 replacement (Mission Critical) for the Gastrointestinal (GI) clinic’s reprocessing area within SPS during the recent site visit and audit from the VISN 10 Chief Sterile Processing Officer (CSPO).
