Contract Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Schuylkill located in Minersville, Pennsylvania intends to make a single award to a responsible entity to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to correct the below referenced work on a 500,000 gallon above ground water tank: Perform a dry interior cleanout to remove sediment. Install an anti-vortex plate on the suction line. Install a cable-type safety climb device on the shell ladder. Post a confined space entry sign at the primary roof hatch. Adjust, calibrate, and lubricate the existing liquid level gauge. Install a thermomete on the tank. Replace the PVC overflow pipe with a steel overflow system, complete with standoffs, flapper valve, and screen. Install two (2) open coil element (OCE)...
