Contract Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a FAR Part 12, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-25-G-0008 for the procurement of one (1) base and up to four (4) option years of commercial CT7-8A6 aircraft engine engineering and logistics support. In accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements”, NAVAIR will issue the order to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01905 as they are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the CT7-8A6 commercial engine utilized on the VH-92A presidential helicopte...
