Background: Norfolk Naval Shipyard Command (NNSY) (Unit Identification Code – UIC N42158) is a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) field activity organizationally aligned under the Logistics, Maintenance and Industrial Operations Directorate, NAVSEA 04. NNSY’s core mission is to; safely repair U.S. Naval Warships to technical standards, on time, and at cost. NNSY provides the following services to the U.S. Navy: (I.)
