Contract Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by RFO 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to enter a fixed-price contract with Timken Gears & Services Inc. of Mokena, IL for maintenance of eight Philadelphia Gear, 1800DHV, industrial-output worm gears. The new equipment prolonged storage preservation service must be performed by an authorized original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in accordance with the same preservation service using the GearLogic process.
