Contract Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), 47123 Buse Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the Boeing Company, Jacksonville, FL, on a sole source basis. This contract will provide Fleet Service Representative (FSR) support for the F/A-18 E/F Block II Infrared Search and Track (IRST) system in Iwakuni, Japan and Lemoore, California. As the prime contractor responsible for the overall system development, architecture, and integration of the IRST system onto the F/A-18 aircraft, the Boeing Company uniquely possesses the comprehensive knowledge, experience, and technical data required to successfully maintain the system.
