Contract Description
The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Eaton Corporation to provide a one-time Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) refit for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment at the Madison, WI VAMC. This procurement is being conducted IAW FAR Part 13 Limited Source Justification Approval, and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements, as Eaton Corporation is the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government s requirements. Eaton is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only vendor with access to proprietary service software, technical data, diagnostic tools, and OEM-certified replacement parts required to perform the SLEP refit.
