Contract Description
KMRD Hyder Seasonal Housing Facility (Rental Services) This is a non-personal services contract to provide a housing facility for the Forest Service Ketchikan-Misty Fjords Ranger District (KMRD), Tongass National Forest (TNF), Alaska. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. Background and Purpose: KMRD owns and operates the Fish Creek Wildlife Observation Site in Hyder, Alaska. Hyder is a remote Southeast Alaska community with approximately 50–100 residents, located about 75 air miles from Ketchikan, Alaska, and 2 miles from Stewart, British Columbia.
