Contract Description

Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) intends to award a contract in accordance with FAR 12.102(a), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold and only one source reasonably available to Hale Koa Hotel. The Government requires the use of Hale Koa Hotel for a Luau dinner on Wednesday during a conference, to ensure both logistical efficiency and participants’ safety. Moving over 200 conference attendees and their spouses, potentially totaling 400 individuals, to an alternate venue in the evening would present significant challenges.
