Contract Description
This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS PGI) 206.302-1(d), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is executing a firm-fixed-price contract to perform a life safety upgrade at McNary Dam. A critical component of this project is the integration of a new smoke control system. This requires installing new controllers, sensors, and programming logic that must interface directly and natively with the existing facility-wide Direct Digital Control (DDC) system.
