Contract Description
The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a direct award to Commemorative Air Force (CAF), 5661 Mariner Drive, Dallas, Texas 75237- 4728 (SAM UEI: RR3MM8ZLJSA8) for Flight Line Services. The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Flight Line Service Detachment (FLSD) provides high quality smoke & engine oil services. The aerobatic smoke oil and engine oil are transported on base from/to Harlingen by the contractor. These fluids are used during aerobatic displays to highlight plumes, maneuvers with white or colored smoke to enhance the displays. It's safe for performances because it provides better visibility of the aircrafts.
