Contract Description
The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Fort Hood intends to procure RMT Fire Suppression Systems for the 302nd SQDN on a sole-source basis for a commercial product, in accordance with Revolutionary Far Overhaul FAR 12.101-1. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract Fire Combat Inc. The basis for this sole-source determination is that Fire combat Inc., is the only source that can provide the required "RMT 4000" fire suppressor systems that meet the Government's minimum needs. This vendor is the original manufacturer and sole distributor of the required systems, and no other systems are compatible with the existing infrastructure.
