Contract Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), Marine Operations Center, Acquisition Branch, intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed-price contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) with Logistec Stevedoring U.S.A. Inc., 2001 E. McComas Street, Baltimore, MD 21230-5038. The requirement is for stevedoring services in support of the NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson at the Port of Cleveland, Ohio. The Government has determined that Logistec Stevedoring U.S.A. Inc. is the only authorized stevedore service provider at the Port of Cleveland and is the only source capable of providing the required services without obtaining additional authorization from the Port.
