NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOAA's Marine Operations Center, Acquisition, Accountability, and Analysis Branch, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1); with Hose-McCann Telephone Co. for the evaluation, testing, and repair of the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer’s internal communications public address systems hardware. Sole Source Justification: Hose McCann is the original equipment manufacturer for the ship’s RMA Systems. All design drawings, programming data, and installation criteria are their proprietary information. They hold the patents on their Public Address/General Alarm Systems and Sound-Powered Telephones.
