Contract Description
The Base Emergency Communications System (BECS) intends to colicit and award a Sole Source contract in accordance with FAR Overhaul subpart 12.102 , For Other than Full and Open Competition to Motorola Solutions, INC. The BECS program modernization effort focusesd on upgrading and ensuring the interoperability of Army public safety communications. This initiative supports the integration of Sierra Army Depot's legacy Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system into the Army CONUS Enterprise (ACE) LMR arquitecture, in conjuction with enhancing interoperability within BECS capabilities.
