Contract Description
The use of speed monitoring carts enhances traffic enforcement and driver/pedestrian safety on base, particularly in dangerous intersections and walkways. This is not a new mission requirement, as civilian law enforcement agencies and Security Forces units throughout the last 20 years have used speed measuring carts to augment their traffic enforcement patrols. The SFS has two Traffic Logix speed Carts, one of which was damaged during a recent wind storm and is in need of replacement parts. In addition, due to the demand of enforcement and needs of the Installation, the SFS is adding additional radar traffic signs/carts to their enforcement capabilities.
