Contract Description
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) intends to award a sole source contract to Kastle Systems LLC for renewing operation and maintenance of the Kastle Systems LLC physical security system in CFTC’s Washington, DC office. The anticipated period of performance will be 11 months with two options to extend for an additional 6 months each. The term of the contract will align with that of CFTC’s building lease. Kastle Systems LLC is the sole proprietor of the system and does not permit any other company to provide maintenance and operations services for the equipment. The Government intends to procure this requirement under the authority of 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 12.102(b) per the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul.
