Contract Description

Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is hereby issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N5523626R0006 to accomplish the Preservation, Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical/Electronic Repairs for the Visit, Board, Search, Seizure (VBSS) Boats 11MRX1101 and 11MRX1102. The Preservation, Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical/Electronic Repairs for VBSS Boats 11MRX1101 and 11MRX1102 will be from May 22, 2026 through May 20, 2027 (craft delivery date). The repairs shall be performed at a contractors facility within a 125-mile radius of Naval Base San Diego. The acquisition and solicitation-to-award process shall abide by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and the Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS) guidelines.
