Contract Description
The USGS is seeking sources for a possible mission operations center (MOC) for the Landsat 10 project. While there have been prior RFIs and studies issued for this activity, significant changes in the mission architecture necessitate engaging with industry again to get updated information. The L10 project has been revised per direction from the administration and congress with a new architecture that differs from the baseline that was previously used in prior engagement with industry. The baseline L10 architecture originally consisted of a "triplet" of three observatories (spacecraft bus + instrument) that were launched on a single vehicle and formed a constellation that executed Landsat Next mission requirements.
