Contract Description
Building 1030 currently functions as a United States Air Force Military Working Dog (MWD) Kennel. The building has undergone numerous renovations since its conception. This upcoming renovation will function to bring the kennel up to current standards. This facility is essential to the training and health of each MWD. There are a few key components to the project that exist. First, a complete gut of existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The existing HVAC system does not supply enough air changes as required per the Kennel Design Guide and has led to terrible odor and health concerns.
