Contract Description
DLA Disposition Services is requiring responsible disposal and mutilation of electronic equipment with memory. Defense Logistic Agency (hereinafter Agency) on behalf of US Military organizations located at Incirlik Turkey has a requirement for disposal of electronic scrap through mutilation. Electronic equipment must be shredded or mutilated in an approved recycling process or at an approved disposal facility. Mutilation will be required and is a term used in the context of disposal and management of certain types of property. It applies to items that, due to their nature or sensitivity, must be physically altered or destroyed to prevent them from being used for their original purpose.
