Notice ID Number: NIST-SS26-03 Title: Rigging and Repair of Wind Tunnel Motor-Generator Set Response Date: April 22,2026 The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research and identify potential sources of commercial products/services that satisfy the Government’s anticipated needs. BACKGROUND The NIST Sensor Science Division (SSD) supports the US industrial competitiveness by advancing the next generation of SI-traceable measurements in dimensional metrology, thermodynamics, optical radiation, and fluid flow. The Fluid Metrology Group (FMG) within the SSD maintains standards for realizing gas flow, including air speed.
