Contract Description
SUBJECT Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to repair this part. ITEM DESCRIPTION The Pilot Warning Alarm Set (NSN 6340-01-153-8073; PN 205-074-033-103), also known as the Revolutions per Minute (RPM) Limit Detector, monitors the speed of the rotor head and the engine. If either has a rate of speed that is too low, it alerts the pilot of this occurrence. This part is utilized by the USAF TH-1H helicopter, which is located at Fort Rucker, AL and has a fleet size of 27 aircraft. This requirement is to repair all 12ea unserviceable units that are in AF inventory.
