Contract Description
The Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, Kentucky, Maintenance/Demilitarization Division renovates 105MM/155MM rounds through the recap process at Building 555. One component of this renovation process is a requirement to perform Digital Radiographic Imaging (X-Ray) inspection of the processed rounds. To accomplish this, an X-Ray inspection system has been installed and integrated into the munitions renovation line at Building 555 in the Ammunition Restricted Area of the depot. This equipment must be operational to prevent renovation line down time, which would result in loss of production, and failure to support customer requirements.
