Tionesta Lake Jib Crane Work Platform and Safety UpdatesTionesta Lake, Tionesta, PennsylvaniaThe U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project that involves erecting a platform on the exterior of the Control Tower at Tionesta Creek Lake located in Forest County, PA. The purpose of the platform is to facilitate maintenance on the previously installed jib crane which is otherwise inaccessible to workers. The timing of this contract coincides with new OSHA requirements involving ladders and fall protection. So while not necessarily part of erecting a platform, updates to multiple ladders onsite are made as well while the Contractor is mobilized.
