INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20 anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract to Project Number 668-21-100 Upgrade AHUs-18, 20, and 22 Mechanical Systems at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, 4815 N Assembly Street, Spokane, WA 99205. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor will upgrade AHUs- 18, 20, and 22 Mechanical Systems located in Building 1 (Main Hospital) in accordance with the associated Statement of Work (SOW), Drawings and Specifications. The project replaces the existing air handlers (3EA) with new air handlers (4EA), installs/replaces electrical panel boards, breakers, cables, conduit, steam piping, chill water piping, and hydronic piping for the AHUs.
