Contract Description
Description: Â The Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is in need of replacing fire hydrants, isolation valves and the required associated system components. The project also includes the addition of new isolation valves for specific fire hydrants. The objective of this project is to safely replace existing isolation valves, fire hydrants and the required associated system components, and to add new isolation valves for specific fire hydrants, meeting the project specifications and the latest version of the applicable codes, standards and regulation, as detailed thereafter; the contractor shall also complete testing of the new components and cleaning of the affected water system sections.
