OVERVIEW & BACKGROUND The Maritime Administration (MARAD) seeks a licensed and experienced marine insurance broker to establish, manage and administer a fleet Protection & Indemnity (P&I) Policy to provide coverage for all of the risks associated with a standard marine P&I policy, with policy limits of at least $1,000,000,000 for each training ship owned by the U.S. Government that are berth at the six State Maritime Academies (SMAs).
