Contract Description
This solicitation is reissued due to technical responses that were required in addition to adhering to the FAR Overhaul under Commercial Services. A second site visit is scheduled and listed within the attached Amendment. BACKGROUND INFORMATION The Gaithersburg Site Effluent Treatment System is located on the south end of campus at the “E” Gate intersection at Center Drive. Built in the mid-1990’s, the system was designed to comply with Washington Sanitary Sewer Commission (WSSC) effluent discharge requirements. The system is centered around a large concrete tank (wet tank) that provides primary effluent treatment with a stir / chop agitator system PH monitoring and treatment.
